The Hungry Hustle isn’t just a fun run — it’s a movement! Every step you take helps us fight childhood hunger and bring hope to kids right here in our community. Lace up your running shoes, throw on your ugliest Christmas sweater, and join us on the Virgin River Trail as we run, laugh, and hustle for a cause that truly matters.
This year we’re at a new venue — the Sullivan Virgin River Soccer Park — and we’re ready to make it our best event yet.
Whether you’re a runner, a walker, or just here to cheer, your support fuels our mission: making sure no child goes hungry.
Each kilometer along the trail is packed with holiday fun — tinsel, Christmas trees, candy canes, snowball tosses, and yes… even a selfie with the REAL Santa!
So grab your sweater (the uglier the better), gather your friends and family, and get ready for holiday joy, laughter, and the best part — helping kids in need.
🥫 Food Drive
Not a runner? No problem! Swing by our food drive drop-off at Confluence Park anytime from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Every can of food brings us one step closer to ending childhood hunger.
Starting at 9:00 AM, head to the gazebo in the center of Confluence Park to grab your packet & goodie bag, complete with an official Ugly Sweater t-shirt. Don’t forget to show off your holiday gear — we’ll be watching for contenders for the Ugliest Sweater Awards!

There is adequate parking available at the park, conveniently located near the gazebo and starting line. Come early to settle in, grab your packet, and enjoy the pre-race festivities with ease!
🏅 Post-Race

Volunteer Duties
Event Setup: Volunteers assisting with event setup will help prepare the park, race course and gazebo area for race day. Duties may include arranging tables and chairs, setting up tents or shade canopies, organizing the registration area, posting directional signage, and preparing water stations. This team ensures that everything is ready and welcoming before participants arrive.
Registration Table: Volunteers at the registration table will greet participants, check them in, distribute race bibs, t-shirts and answer basic event questions. A friendly attitude and attention to detail are important, as this is often the first interaction participants have on event day. Registration volunteers also assist with day-of sign-ups as needed.
General Event Support: General support volunteers will provide assistance throughout the event wherever needed. This may include cheering on runners along the course, directing participants to the correct locations, restocking water or snacks, helping at aid stations and supporting families and spectators. Flexibility is key in this role, as assignments may vary depending on event needs.
Event Clean Up: Volunteers assisting with clean up will help break down tables, chairs, tents, and signage after the event concludes. They will also collect trash, recycling, and any leftover supplies to ensure the park is left clean and orderly. This team plays an essential role in wrapping up the event smoothly and leaving a positive impression on the community.
